Built by a Craftsman. Driven by Quality.
Owner Curtis Rew has spent more than three decades building, creating, restoring, and managing construction projects of all sizes. Throughout that journey, one thing has remained constant: a commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Long before construction became a career, woodworking was already a passion. Curtis built his first piece of furniture with his grandfather while still in grade school. Throughout junior high and high school, he continued developing his skills through woodworking programs and hands-on projects. After graduating, he entered the construction industry and began building the foundation for what would become a lifelong career.
Today, that experience allows Rew Construction to approach projects from a perspective that goes beyond simply building structures. It is about understanding how things fit together, how materials perform, and how thoughtful craftsmanship creates lasting value.
Over the last 35 years, Curtis has worked on an incredibly wide variety of projects. His experience includes:
One of the most memorable projects of his career involved the restoration of a historic 1894 building in downtown Spokane.
As superintendent, Curtis helped oversee the complete renovation of the structure, including the careful restoration and reconstruction of a five-story staircase dating back to the late nineteenth century.
Experiences like these helped shape the attention to detail and respect for craftsmanship that define Rew Construction today.
In 2005, Curtis attended the Northwest Woodworking Studio in Portland, Oregon, where he spent two years studying furniture building.
His work eventually led to being selected as one of thirteen furniture builders featured on Framework, a nationally televised woodworking competition series.
That woodworking background continues to influence every project today. Whether it's a custom home, luxury kitchen, bathroom remodel, or woodworking feature, the goal remains the same: build something exceptional.
Explore Custom WoodworkingIn addition to residential remodeling and woodworking, Curtis has spent years managing major commercial construction projects. Managing projects of that scale requires organization, communication, scheduling, quality control, and leadership. Those same skills now benefit homeowners who choose Rew Construction.
At Rew Construction, we believe homeowners deserve more than a contractor who simply shows up and completes the work. They deserve a contractor who:
Quality work that homeowners can enjoy for years to come.
The details determine whether a project feels average or exceptional.
